Ten Rowan County Middle School School spent the first part of the day learning about rain gardens. The students immediately put their knowledge to work by constructing a rain garden on the school grounds.

The project was funded by the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service's Extension Associate for Environmental and Natural Resource Issues with support from MSU's Center for Environmental Education.
