June 16 and 17, 4:30 to 6 pm
The center will be hosting a hands-on (working) workshop on planning and constructing a rain garden. Participants will receive information on the benefits of rain gardens. In addition, all participants will receive a free native plant for participating. The workshop is FREE and open to the everyone. Location: The back of Lappin Hall. Day 1: Site preparation. Day 2: Planting.
Since the workshop is hands on we will be outside for the entire workshop and will be working.
The workshop is sponsored by a grant from the Center for Regional Engagement.
