This class is open to anyone looking to gain experience in the area of environmental education.  Join MSU Environmental Education Center Director and Facilitator April Haight for a fun-filled day of hands on learning that is sure to be a great training opportunity for teachers, Girl/Boy Scout leaders, 4-H volunteers, etc.

Teachers in attendance will gain professional development hours and also program guidance in core content areas and national standards.  Project Food, Land & People promotes approaches to learning to help people better understand the interrelationships among agriculture, the environment and people of the world.

Flying WILD, a program of the Council for Environmental Education, introduces students to bird conservation through standards-based classroom activities and environmental stewardship projects.

Project Food, Land & People will be conducted on Saturday, March 28th and the Project Flying WILD Facilitators Training will be held on Sunday, March 29th, 2009.
